Kathy Moses Shelton has been a guest on Martha Stewart Living Television regarding early American silver and was an invited speaker on Southern folk and outsider art at Color, an art show sponsored by Oprah Winfrey. She is the author of the definitive book on Southern folk and outsider art, Outsider Art of the South (published by Schiffer Ltd. as Kathy Moses), written for collectors and those who would like to learn about this exciting field.

Most recently, Kathy has contributed to several exhibition catalogues, including Time Made Real: The Carvings of Tim Lewis, for the traveling museum show of this talented self-taught stone carver. From 1996 to 2009, she was co-owner of Nashville, Tennessee-based Shelton Gallery & Fine Silver, which specialized in 19th Century paintings & sporting art, folk art, silver, walking sticks, antiques and Modernism. As such, she was instrumental in building many important private Americana art collections and in placing great works of art in museums. She founded Just Looking in 2009.

Kathy is also available for speaking engagements on contemporary Southern folk and outsider art and Southern coin silver. She has been quoted as an expert in these fields in Southern Accents and other publications.
